Moo Calendar is a basic Windows calendar with a smooth interface and a few extra features. The application requires .NET Framework 2.0, which is installed automatically if it is not found on your computer. Because it uses this framework, it can run a little bit sluggish on some computers. Although the delay between clicking a control and getting a response from the interface is not long (usually under one second), it can still be frustrating.

The calendar can be viewed in one of four formats: day-by-day, week-by-week, month-by-month or agenda view. The way events are displayed and programmed is pretty standard: each event has a start and an end date and time, a title, a description and a category. An event can also be set as recurring. All in all, there are no surprises or additional features here. The ability to sync your local calendar with a private or public online calendar is a useful function but it’s still pretty standard stuff. The only feature that stands out a little bit is the weather forecast displayed for the current day.

In conclusion, Moo Calendar is a very basic calendar having no more and no less than what you would expect from your typical calendar software.
